Credit for Supervisory Education and IACET CEUs Requires Students to:

  • Be fully engaged in the educational process. 
  • Fulfill tuition requirements. 
  • Participate in group and individual supervision.
  • Adhere to the clinical practice site guidelines. 
  • Complete the 400 hours.
  • Remain in compliance with CPEI's Code of Professional Ethics. 
  • Submit a final evaluation.
  • Complete the post course/unit assessment. 
SEC 600-900 Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of Supervisory Education the students will be able to:
  • Evaluate the use of self in pastoral supervision..
  • Defend one's theoretical and theological concepts of pastoral supervision.
  • Apply the understanding and application of key supervisory concepts in the practice of pastoral supervision
  • Choose key relationships for ongoing supervisory consultation.
  • Describe and apply one's supervisory theory and knowledge in the practice of pastoral supervision.
  • Select a variety of supervisory interventions and strategies in the practice of pastoral supervision.
  • Choose appropriate actions in ethical decisional making in the practice of pastoral supervision.
  • Articulate one's ability to administer a CPE program.
  • Evaluate a variety of self-care practices.
  • Initiate contact with one's peers and others for consultation and support.
